Colin Ward (1924-2010)

Den vänster som är i majoritet i Sverige är den vänster som hela tiden försöker sig på det omöjliga att på samma gång försöka reglera sönder vanliga små människors tillvaro, samtidigt som man säger sig stå samma små människors sida.

Den vänstern skulle behöva lyfta blicken och inse att inte bara "högern" kämpar mot förtryck, inte bara "högern" vill låta små människor bestämma över sina egna liv, inte bara "högern" med Friedrich von Hayek i spetsen gillar spontan ordning när den uppstår som följd av att folk fattar egna beslut om sina egna liv.

För en vecka sedan avled den brittiske frihetliga socialisten Colin Ward.
